I am happy to announce that I will be teaching at an exciting new location, The Church Sag Harbor, from Tuesday to Thursday 10:00-4:00, September 1-3, 2026.
In this three-day watercolor workshop we will alternate between painting the live model and painting seasonal fruit and vegetables.
Mornings, we will focus on making fast and fluid monochromatic watercolors of the live model, with poses that range from 30 seconds to 20 minutes.
Afternoons, we will examine the finer details of nature, form, light and color in fresh local produce to paint simple essential colorful still lifes.
Individual instruction will be given to each student, to brush control, wetness and use of the paper. All levels from beginners to advanced are welcome.
