I am happy to announce that I will be returning to teach at the Newport Art Museum School from September 6-7, 2025.

In this two-day watercolor workshop students will alternate between painting the live model and painting seasonal fruit and vegetables.

Mornings, students will learn techniques for making fast and fluid monochromatic watercolors of figures, with poses that range from 30 seconds to 20 minutes.

Afternoons, together we will examine the finer details of nature, form, light and color in fresh local produce to paint simple essential colorful still lifes. Individual instruction will be given to each student, to brush control, wetness and use of the paper. All levels from beginners to advanced are welcome.
